As promised, here’s the post of the new direction of The Making Of! Granted it’s a bit later than I intended….
Blogger Muse: A bit late?
Ok, quite a bit late. Sheesh so judgmental. But better late than never as I always say! Now, to give a bit of background on the new format/direction of The Making Of. I still do The Making Of–full cosplays. Such as the ones that are already completed. But, I wanted to start another thing with it. The Making Of….process episodes!
In these ones you guys will get to see the process of the props and cosplays as I work on them. This will especially be fun if you follow me on my social media too, since I tend to post short videos of what’s it’s like during working periods.
So let’s get started with our first episode eh? The Making Of: Countess Oogie Boogie. Episode 1. I was inspired to do this cosplay when one of my best friends asked me to join her Disney villain cosplay group for an upcoming convention in a few months. Which I will post about pretty soon!
And may I say, I am so excited to get started on this. I already have the base design drawn out. (Below)
And the next thing I have achieved is getting the fabric for the cape/cloak and creating a pattern for it to get started on it. (Below)
Well, that’s all of the progress I have for the moment! Y’all will be seeing the second episode when I make more progress. Also stayed tuned for different The Making Of posts like these with more of my upcoming projects.
