Hello and welcome to today’s Quotable Top Ten my friends. Today I’m going to be a little indulgent for this Top Ten and talk about some anime that I think is definitely worth a re-watch. So, here we go!
10. The Devil’s a Part Timer
This anime is a definite favorite of mine and I have definitely re-watched it many-a-time over. The fact that this anime gives you an entirely different outlook on the devil character and turns him from the scary and evil supernatural being that we are used to seeing on a various animes, and turns him into this adorable, innocent goofball is genius. Not to mention the cast of characters is so colorful from Sadou Maou’s–the devil himself, side kicks, to the friends and even the enemies themselves.
9. Black Butler
I only recommend the first season for the sole reason, it should have been just that one season. But…that’s another article for another time.
Anyways the first season of Black Butler is, in my opinon a really good re-watch. The story line sucks you in every time with its fluidness and unique details. Not to mention you feel for each and every character. The animation studio did a very good job with showing off each of their personalities. From Sebastian, to Mei Rin, Ciel, even Grell!
8. Fruits Basket
An oldie, but a goodie. Plus I’ve always been a sucker for the cuter rom-com animes. Not to mention you just end up falling in love with the entire cast of characters all over again each time you watch it.
7. Kuroko no Baskue
Such a good sports anime! And not only are the characters in this anime hot, but I love watching this anime over and over because the storyline is amazing.
6. Fairy Tail
It’s a long re-watch, but so very worth it. Just watching the characters progress and grow stronger. And also getting to see that Fairy Tail isn’t always that super overpowered guild that they are usually shown to be—mostly at the beginning. But if anything can fix their troubles, it’s the power of friendship!
5. Kamisama Kiss
Another rom-com anime. I just barley finished this one a few days ago, but I would totally watch this anime again and again. It’s just something about that storyline and how Tomou grows to love a certain new land god that makes this adorable.
4. Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic
A different twist on the tale of Aladdin and an amazing tale of conquering, magic adventure, and love all wrapped up into one anime. I’ve already watched this like three times and it’s amazing every time. Eventually I really need to do a cosplay build based off of this anime.
3. Yuri on Ice!!
Ice skating. Yaoi. Romance. A touching story line. ‘Nough said.
2. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
This was one of the very first anime I’ve watched. And it never gets old watching it over and over again. From the villains to the protagonists, even the side characters have their own special spark. I highly recommend watching this if you haven’t already.
And last, but not least….
1. My Hero Academia
Those who know me, probably knew this one was going to be on the list. I absolutely adore this anime. I mean come on, it’s an animated version of Sky High–without the “destined-one” trope cheesiness. I have watched this anime so many times while working on projects or just to relax. And I absolutely can’t wait for the new season in October.
Well, that’s it for this Quotable Top Ten! I hope y’all enjoyed this one.
